Welcome aboard Snoopy.
When you post up photos from Photbucket, it's best to copy the IMG codes, and you'll end up with them like this..........

Welcome aboard snoopy, it's a pleasure to have you with us.

I do believe one of our members has a B/F Desert Eagle so you can be sure of a helpful reply soon Wink

I don't have my Desert eagle blank firer available right now, but from memory you are missing the spring(s) that lifts the trigger connector to actuate the sear to release the hammer. Or similar, i'll see if i can dig mine up and shoot a quick photo next week....

Or maybe some other member has his available? Smile

Hi snoopy,

Do you know which company manufactured your Desert Eagle Question
That might help us track down a source for spares.

Sometimes you can get away with just looking at your local hardware store for springs...

Bruni's been good the one time I tried to get info from them- they emailed me the schematics pretty quickly, despite a bit of a language barrier.

I wasn't able to get pics and won't have another opportunity for a long time. So hopefully someone else can step in.

If it is impossible to get any reply from Bruni i suspect that the Desert Eagle will turn into a simple paperweight Sad

Making your own springs can be done but isn't that easy, get some piano wire and go for it...

My experience is that for most replicas/blank firers or modelguns it is hard to find replacement parts.

I had hoped that someone here might have one of these Desert Eagles and could tell you exactly what's missing. If you had the spring length etc you're half way there.

You could always try contacting retailers just in case they've spares available.

Here's a handful I've found:-

http://www.airpistol.co.uk/blank_firing_military_handguns.htm

http://www.surplusstore.co.uk/catalog/index.php/cPath/70

http://www.gungarage.com/blank_pistols.htm

http://www.turnerrichards.co.uk/acatalog/Blanks___Firing_Pistols.html

Another option could be calling in at your nearest Gun shop perhaps Question

Idea As an after-thought, is it possible that the missing spring could be replaced by a Modelgun part or an Airgun one Question
