Obviously a Tanaka clone - slide & frame in ABS plastic (with all-metal internals incl. the barrel though)...and only roughly 1/3 the price of Tanakas...

Below is the one made before Taiwan's new toy gun law (pre-2002) in which the law required either the barrel or the slide had to be made by plastic in red or orange...

I bet it'll be more durable than the Tanakas in every way...

Not sure why this modelgun sounds so quiet, other Marushin UZIs as well as my own makes louder bangs than this. Could be the video camera perhaps.

There's no doubt that this one fires beautifully though... not a single miss nor jam... lovely

Videos coming soon (hopefully).

First up: Marushin Kar98K. Quality is ok (like with almost all Marushin guns I know, they all have their flaws), a lot of metal and real wood stock. The shell system is rigid and works flawlessly, so this really is a LOT of fun!

Even though Tanaka is trying very hard to stay active in the industry, but it seems they're at times getting out of hand - especially the surface finishings...

Their "Midnight Blue" looks good on vintage guns such as Colt DS, S&W revolvers introduced during the 50s~70s as well as their Lugers, but applying it on modern semi-autos such as SIG P228/229 is a bit too much - real steel wise the surface is matt instead of glossy finishings.

Anybody with even a passing interest in the Second World War will recognise the German MP40 instantly. It is, probably without doubt, the iconic German weapon.

In my personal opinion, the MP40 and its’ predecessor, the MP38, are the best looking sub machine guns ever produced and by far the most desirable to have in any WW2 collection.
