My Model MP41

Real MP41

A Brief History

The MP40 was often called the "Schmeisser" by the Allies, after weapons designer Hugo Schmeisser, but, in fact, he did not design the MP40 but held a patent on the magazine.

Magazines were stamped with “Schmeisser” and so, we are led to belive, Allied troops picking up MP40s started calling them “Schmeissers.”

The MP-41 submachine gun, however, was developed by Hugo Schmeisser. He came from good lineage, his ...

***UNDER CONSTRUCTION***MORE TO FOLLOW***

1. Improving Blow Back and Automatic Firing

Try substituting Hudson’s own cartridge Piston with MGC ones. The MGC type do not have a hole drilled through the piston centre and may well seal in more gas pressure as the cap ignites giving much better blowback.

Note, however, the Detonator pin will have to be shortened to suit the MGC piston’s extra length.

See photos below...

Hi!

DEFENDER was produced with the assembly kit made of TOKYO-MARUI GM45AUTO.

Airsoft's of ARII was thinly cut and the slide was put on the cut slide.

The spring guide was made by oneself.

The hammer and sight used made of MGC.

An internal structure is such feeling.

It is possible to ignite tentatively by a special cartridge.

The surface is spray finish.

It is after a long time ..not considering...

WILSON TSGC of WA was produced this time.

Inner uses made of MGC.

It had a hard time producing because it was small.

It is still adjusting it though it tentatively completed.

Hi, as any one added a silencer to their model guns?

I have a S-Knights Surpressor Mode-2 with 14m to 14mm adaptor fitted to my XM177. Removed the front part after the sight. I think it looks cool and 'stubby' does appear to silence but thenI thin the barrel is blocked ... doh!

But looks cool to me, though.

Would like to attach to my other guns anybody done so?

I thought id share my current project I’m working on.

I have an old Hudson AK47 and while it’s a great looking model (as with most Hudson’s) the firing performance leaves a lot to be desired (as with most Hudson’s)

So I thought………. I’d modify it.

I wanted to do several things to it which should overcome the firing problems

1: Install the auto sear (which is missing from all of the AK’s except the SE version)

2: Custom steel bolt

3: Make my own custom rounds to take ...

M15 was produced based on M10(ABS) of Kokusai this time.

Though it is previously put on the market from HWS

Production began because it satisfied and it went.

The cylinder is shortened to 38SPL size.

The frame is reproduced as faithfully as possible.

It came to try to strike the stamp in the round.

Finish is painting. A metallic feeling has been put out with four

kinds of paints.

As most of you may know, I am very fond of the AR-15/M16 series. I have a few different models in my collection and have done a few mostly cosmetic modifications.

I wrote about fitting real M4 foregrips as the grips MGC used were too thin. MGC simply used the molds they had for their XM177 and M16A1/M16A2 Carbine models (M725 Carbine), but the 14,5 inch M4A1 carbine uses thicker hand guards (you may notice that the M933 M4A1 Commando with the 11,5 inch barrel still has the thinner ones).

In order to blue or blacken any metal properly, you need to follow some instructions:

1) Thoroughly degrease the metal using Birchwood Casey Cleaner/Degreaser or Isopropyl Alcohol on a firm sponge pad.

2) Apply Birchwood Casey Blue & Rust Remover with a saturated swab and allow to work for two minutes. Thoroughly scrub the surface with a piece of coarse steel wool dampened with Blue & Rust Remover, until the metal is gleaming.

Hello all, I was just wondering if anyone had ever blued an Marushin XM177E2 bolt? Mines aluminium and I wouldn't mind making it blue. Sorry if this has already been asked. If I were to blue it, what type of bluing solution would be best to use??? Any help would be much appreciated...

I know there have been some experimenting done earlier, but i got somewhat curious about this

With regaurds to the Wa Shan, I agree that the main thing I hate about the M9 is that really thin barrel. The Glock and the 1911 that I have don not have these, and the Glock barrel is rather nice and fat, but here is what I did to prevent this from spoiling my model. Now, I am sure that the end result will have mixed reactions:

Those are based on HW SAA. Lot of guys tried to blue HW modelgun here, so little success story though. I haven't tried by myself because:

1) too afraid to ruin the model

2) don't have time to spend (it is fairly time consuming)

Want to try?

Hi,

Having discussed so long on modification of an airsoft to modelgun. Though it is possible, with reference from our Japanese friends on their success stories, I think it is really not an easy task. And it also requires to get a lot of spare parts from other modelgun and even dismantle / damage the good modelgun in order to get the parts. It is not easy, both financially and technically.

Now, how about this, which looks a bit easier. To modify the airsoft metal slide, ...

Can anyone tell me if real UZI magazines can be used with the Marushin UZI? They fit quite well and do not need big adjustments as I have used them as additional decoration items with my UZI as Marushin spare mags are hard to come by. But I doubt if they feed (strong spring, different feed lips?).

I have my hands on some 25 rd magazines from old stock German Army surplus, and a 25 rd magazine for my Marushin Uzi would sure be nice ...

As you can see they are perfect ( sorry about the poor quality pics ) 8ace has even made a steel extracor to make the bolt complete.

As they say "the proof is in the pubbing" so i fitted it to my Marushin uzi, loaded her up and let rip......it worked great fired the 20 rounds straight out and upon inspection didn't even mark the bolt ...

Short of sanding off the MGC finish and bluing my m1921 thompson, how might one remove an orange band placed on the cutts compensator by Japan airsoft? Black spray paint just doesn't seem to be n option.

I've been wondering which smg models can be safely converted to use blanks and if it's even practical. Considering the tremendous prices that Schoessler's wants for blank-firing submachine guns, I would think the interest would be there somewhere.

Hi Guys,

What are the options for changing the Marushin UZI mag/trigger housing from the later plastic type to a metal one

Are the Marushin metal one hard to find?, are they a straight fit are there any other custom ones (airsoft) that will fit as i'd hate to make my own one

I received some CP rounds for my open barrel Thompson today thanks to Shazhib and started to measure the old chamber and firing pin....

It was evident there was only a slight difference in the size of rounds and the paper cap firing pin was 4mm to short and 2mm too wide...

Had a quick rummaged around and some of the older members here will remember the 3 pin round mains plugs we used to use, well the earth pin was an ideal shape and had the correct thread on it and ...

I just bought an MGC Thompson off of eBay, and it appears to be a display model: flat extractor w/ screw, blocked barrel. I hope to convert it ASAP. Any thoughts for the good of the order?

As near as I can tell, the bolt has not been cut. Is it good for anything (other than a boat anchor or a paperweight)?

I currently have a Marushin MP40, which I built from a kit from www.wwiiguns.com, an MGC Ingram M11 (needs suppressor), this Tommy, & a modest airsoft collection.

Hi guys,

I have just received a beautiful Colt .45 Government made by Hobbyfix with plans to modify it (remove the gold, blue it and if possible convert it to fire MGC CP-HW .45 rounds)

I will be doing a review of it soon and I have attached a similar photo (not my one)

Should I modify it of leave as is

Hi guys. I recently bought an MGC Thompson off ebay. I screwed up. It was one of the models imported to the US in the 1980's I believe, so the bolt has been cut and there is no chamber/detonator.

My question is, it appears that I can replace the bolt assembly and install a chamber/detonator and be in business. The ejector is even in the gun.

My question is does anyone know if that is all that was done to these guns and therefore is a bolt replacement and chamber install ...
