Has anybody heard of Denix 1/1 scale replica model guns?
I stumbled upon a website featuring a couple of models. From what I gather, they are Spanish made real scale replica firearms (non firing).

A Beretta 92 had a price tag of only £60-odd which seemed cheap....

Anyone have any experiences with these at all?

Yes, we have just about all heard about Denix, and we were just discussing their MP40 last week.
Do a bit of a search for them.
I'm sure Cerwyn will probably come up with a few of the past threads on them.

As Oz' suggests, just type in Denix as a Topic in "Search" and you'll get 5 or so hits.

The only example of a Denix replica I've seen and handled is their M1 Garand rifle. It looks the part, the charging handle pulls back and it'll "click" when the trigger's pulled but that's it.

There's no means of loading a clip into it, it won't cycle dummy rounds or anything. As a wallhanger or a prop to sling over your shoulder it's good, but if you want one that'll actually do something look elsewhere.
For the money, however, it's pretty good. I think the owner paid about £190 for it. Compare that price to Hudson's working (non-firing) replica, there's a huge difference. The Hudson is a much better quality replica, it takes full clips, cycles rounds, has everything apart from firing capability.
It all depends on what you want from your replica.

Yeah, they're nice as wall hangers, dry handling, or costume props, but generally non-functioning, not the crispest lines or best manufacture, and not all parts that should move do.

I've got and/or have had at some point their Colt Peacemakers, AK47, Mauser, and M92... but I do prop weapons rentals, so that makes sense for me. For gun-spinning cowboy shows, the Denix revolvers are pretty much the standard... parts move mostly like they should, not too fragile or expensive, looks good, weighted about right, spins fine.

i think i have one, i picked up a AK47 replica for a silly cheap price for work,and after researching i can only think it is a denix, looks and feels ok, strips down like a AK,

The "older" Denix models were much better made and for example the old Colt 1911 could be fully field stripped whereas the current version only the mag is removeable.
