MGC Beretta M92F "SUPER REAL HEAVYWEIGHT" versionThe first generation of plastic modelguns appeared in the early 1970s after the notorious revision of the Guns and Swords Restriction Law was introduced. They worked really well, but there was one big weak point; they were "light". Then, in the late 1980s, a new material was invented; heavy weight plastic, usually shortened as 'HW'. This material contains some metal, which causes modelguns to be heavier, but easier to break because it is mixture of different materials. In 1992, MGC announced that they would make modelguns from new plastic materials which would be a lot heavier than the normal heavy weight plastic. They called the material 'Super Real Heavy Weight' or 'SRH' in short. It contained 60% of metalic powder so that it was attracted by magnets. Because of this, the modelguns made from SRH became about 20% heavier than their normal HW versions. In spite of this good point, however, the SRH material had a crucial weak point; it was so easy to break. It was said that it was 50% easier to break than the normal heavy weight. MGC released seven revolvers and three automatics made from SRH, but the SRH automatics, Government .45, Commander .38, and M92F, became dummy cartridge models, not blowback models. In 1993, MGC decided to stop making the SRH models because the SRH material could be misunderstood as that of real guns, though it was much weak _________________ Cerwyn
