Having managed to find a nice genuine sling to add to my MGC Sterling, I now need to know how to attach it correctly Smile

Can anyone give me some guidance please Question

Thanks in advance,

well from when i used one for real i seem to remember the rear brass loop has a slpit in it, this is place through the sling loop ant the end of the weapon and then the sling is slid through the gap, the other end is just clipped through the hole nearest the hand protector or on the sight protector.
i have pics , email me and ill send as cant seem to upload them

Cerwyn,
Can I ask what the going rate is for the sling?
I have one in the same condition I might as well sell as I don't have a sterling.

Couple of quid-no more than a fiver i would estimate-same goes for Sten slings.

STEN slings are inexpensive, £3 at most usually although some places ask a bit more.

Sterling slings were (are) more expensive when I was looking for one...

on e-Bay today there's one at US$8.21 and another at US$21.26(Buy it Now price)

I actually paid £4.10 GB Pounds (US$6.73) for mine
