So, how to go about it ; I'm not sure if normal gun blue will work on zinc Failing which, I may have to get professional help. Again, I'm not sure if zinc can be anodized

Now that I have the metal model, my ABS model is surplus to requirement. Anyone interested please let me know and I'm sure you'll get a bargain.

I also want to blacken or blue the gun there has to be a way to do it as years ago i had a S&W 357 snubbie that was blued but chrome underneeath and that worked well

The polished zinc just underneath the gold (real) plating, can be blued with Birchwood caseys "SuperBlue" and it will turn out fine if the instructions are followed closely.

the only way is to remove the chrome and that is more trouble than its worth.
