the magazine sticks really hard in the sleeve and ALL of the outside cosmetics had to be glued on! I may fire it today and let you know, it only came with 6 rounds so not much of a movie but we will see what happens.

Looking forwards to the movie Very Happy

The factory assembled model fires well, which surprised most folks considering it's a Hudson Shocked Exclamation If the kit works as well, you should enjoy it, even at 6 rds a time.

If you have time, maybe you could scan and post the Japanese kit assembly instructions please for interest Question

Ok. I loaded a cart. like you said and the only way I could get it to fire is if I put the round on the firing pin in the barrel and then pull the trigger. It acts like the springs are not strong enough. it ejects just fine though! cheers

Does the bolt release from cocked position when pulling the trigger, strip a round from the mag, chamber it then fail to ignite it Question
Or will the bolt fail to strip the round from the mag and chamber it properly Question

Does the bolt return to cocked position once it fires and extracts the spent round Question

the bolt releases just fine but not with enough force it seems like. It could be that it is not chambering properly but it is hard to tell. It does look like the bolt doesn't close all the way but that may be due to the round not chambering properly or the springs not strong enough. If I place a round on the detonator pin the round pops and ejects fine so maybe it isn't chambering properly. The round does leave the magazine and is partially in the barrel. Don't know if that helps.

The manual is uploaded in the instruction area. enjoy.

Thanks for the scanned instructions Romagnus Wink

I notice the instructions show the old Open Cartridges and Detonator Pin scratch

From the photo you've posted of that c.p. type piston, you won't have Open cartridges ... I am assuming now that the Detonator Pin you have in your gun doesn't look like the one in the diagrams Question
If you've got one with that mushroom like tip I would've thought it might well cause jamming problems if you're using c.p. cartridges

A really nice looking model! I have the ABS factory assembled version and really enjoy it. These came with a dull grey finish that can be easily rubbed off. I guess you had to glue the receiver parts together. Hope it performs well too.

I can imagine what it is like in the auto industry right now.Anyway I am quite sure that the economical crises will struck almost everyone in the western world. Being in the Army at the age of 38 (I am in my early 30s too) so I'd guess you are with the reserves? Or did you decide to give up the job and enlist?

This looks like it is made of ABS plastic as it looks black and shiny all the other models i have seen have been made of HW material or a very strange colour brittle plastic. To be honest it looks better than the models i have as mine or either grey in colour or a strange green tint to them and this type of plastic would be stronger i think.

I am giving up the job and enlisted for six years. I will be trained in land combat missle systems and have the oportunity to work with NASA when I get out.
