PostSubject: MGC Thompson woodwork.   Wed Sep 02, 2009 1:59 pm

I bought a real thompson front vertical foregrip and screw to go on to my MGC tommy gun. But to my surprise the front foregrip screw doesn't fit into the tommy gun and even if it did it doesn't line up properly with the wood grip. Its like its off at a different angle than the hole. The specs are completly off compare to the real foregrip. It looks like I almost have to make my own custom attachment for the grip.
Has anyone had this problem and if so how did work it out?

Here you go hank...

http://mp40modelguns.forumotion.net/hudson-m1a1-thompson-f19/real-thompson-woodwork-fitted-t1329.htm

even though this modification was done to Hudson's Thompson, the MGC can't be that different Wink

I hope this helps,
