Got a new pair of i believe G&P? Airsoft M203 handguards and the buggers are too long to fit so now have 2 problems,trying to get the Launcher itself and now the handguards to fit-why did i even think of doing this???

Not turning out to be an easy conversion this is it

Are the handguards too long by much I'm sure the barrel on my Marushin M16 has been threaded out as far as it can go to give a little more length.

Would that help

Phhhhhhhhhhhhew,after a couple of hours,much swearing,much anger i at last managed to fit the airsoft M203 to my Marushin M16A1.

One hell of a nightmare job but well worth it as im now a very happy chappie

Your photos show a bolt on rear sight attached to the carry-handle... my own version doesn't have one, could you possibly post up another couple of photos of that please
Where did you find that sight and dare I ask, was it expensive please

The sight is an original US quadrant sight issued with the M203 but not often seen being used in Vietnam.

The one i have is in vg used condition but i did(now sold) have a mint unissued one as well.

Came from the States a few years ago but havent seen any now for a while.

Final finishing touch is a side mounted front sling swivel as fitted to original M16/M203s-just hope it will fit

I have the possibility of buying a Tokyo Marui M203 launcher, with the hand guards included, for a very nice price.
Has anyone any idea if this one fits an M16? I don't have the M16 yet, so I can not try, but I would already buy this M203 if I was sure it would fit

Sadly enough it's a spring operated airsoft version, so it's not possible to load a 40mm granade in it. It works with a kind of shotgun shell in which 6mm airsoft balls can be loaded, and when you shoot it, 3 balls are coming out at the same time. That's why, at the front of the M203, there are 3 little holes in the barrel. Seen from the front it looks silly, but from the side it looks exactly like a G&P, same markings etc.
