Hudson's Grease Gun in 1973!!!

Hi all!
This is the Vintage modelgun"Hudson Greasegun M3A1" from my
collection. Please enjoy these pics.

Hudson is the only modelgun company produced M3A1, mgc had been produced the Greasegun before around 1970, but that was M3.
The tip of the barrel, you can see the flash hider , this is the real one,
magazine, sling also are real.
Here are 10 Hudson orjginal 45acp cartridges, we called open firing cartridges, I don't know the possibility to fire 30rounds without any jam.
nobody knows!! I have never met the guy who possess this Greasegun!
Anyway, I am damme lucky guy!





Here is  the bolt made of zinc, this bolt is not one solid metal, consist of 2piesce of parts. That's why you can't see the exstractor hidden in the bolt. Greaseguns bolt is so big and heavy as you can imagine, but I feel like it so light when i move it to backward using my finger.there is no
cocking handle anyway. because this big bolt is like floating on the 2   guiding rod.


Here is the only marking on this modelgun. Real gun has the marking on the oppsite side.
You can see the 2screws on the housing cover, these screws hold the ejector.


Now check this out! this is the real flash hider. Hudson was selling the
flash hider for Greasegun at that time, but Hudson didn't make it , somehow they had been inported from U.S.A.




Here is the detonator, called open firing detonator. if you fired, gasses
go through to the mazzel.


I still don't know what this marking meaning is.



Look at this! what a thick steel !! spring tension is so hard campared to it with the modelgun.

Man!! am i green with envy. That is a great model Francky and has got to be on everyones wish list it is definatly on mine but i will have to be content with the plastic version.

The markings on the original M3/M3A1 magazine:
C-153427 GL SPW
C-153427 - Magazine part/stock number.
GL - Not know, but I have 2 magazines with exactly the same markings.
SPW - Makers code for the Sparks-Withington Company.

I don't know where i would ever see another of these rare all zinc/steel M3A1's as they must have been rare even when they where first released! I had no clue that Hudson even made a metal M3A1 until i saw this one..I suppose that this M3A1 if it was for sale it might go for 2-3 thousand! (not really unusual with rare modelguns it appears)

The details on Hudsons all steel/zinc M3A1 are great however, the real M3A1's recoil spring guide rods do not have nuts on their ends they just stick slightly out the back of the receiver. Otherwise, the details are perfect and this would be a very nice addition to the collection of any dedicated modelgun collector!
