I ordered to make the choke on the bore of my M1911A1 & the Colt DS (instead of blocking it) so it looks more like modified guns... Dummy Norinco M1911A1 Icon_biggrin

I ordered the Norinco markings with 50% deposit on this replica because I saw a MGC Norinco 1911A1 modelgun earlier on but I couldn't get one anywhere...then Francky found a brand new one for me but at that time the steel slide was made so I couldn't back out or switch it back to Colt marking anymore...

Since then I hit myself hard...if I'm a Canadian I can simply buy a live one for target shooting at under $300 Canadian Dummy Norinco M1911A1 Icon_cry ...

Here you go Navymid, some more details on these models that Jim has can be found here:

http://mp40modelguns.com/forum2/viewtopic.php?t=2272

and here:

There is a list of prices that he paid on the second link. They are very nice models indeed, but you may want to sit down when you read the price! Dummy Norinco M1911A1 Icon_lol They are still very nice models though.

Hi Navymid2011 Dummy Norinco M1911A1 Icon_biggrin - nice to see that you're interested in this dummy gun...

And also many thanks to Spencerman for helping out when I was absent Dummy Norinco M1911A1 Icon_biggrin ...

This is generally an all-steel dummy pistol - apart from the magazine no real steel part involved. Originally intended as a Colt M1911A1 Military I paid a little bit extra (for others it might not be...) for the Norinco marking as well as the chromed barrel (now I hit myself hard after I eventually acquired the New MGC's Norinco 1911A1 later on - and I bothered to pay more to get a replica which supposed to be an economic option for a .45 auto in the real steel world...).

Maybe I can say I'm patriotic in this regard... Dummy Norinco M1911A1 Icon_question

This .45 replica can load and cycle real-sized .45ACP and apart from the relatively tight magazine housing and the slide stop everything is...fine.

I believe everyone here will turn away after they see the price tag...but for someone like me who lives in a "gun-free" city this is the best option for me - but now it seems we're better off than the UK Dummy Norinco M1911A1 Icon_confused ...

By the way a Browning Hi-Power MK III from the same source will be on the way - late April at the latest - I'll post it up once it's ready.

Anyone who's interested can PM me for more details...

Jim
