Hi,

I´m Michael from Germany and I bought a used Marushin UZI. It is a old Kit-Model from the 80ths in good condition but the front Sling Swivel is missing!

Can I replace this Part with the original IMI Part?

Next month we have a big Gun and Collector Show in Stuttgart and I would like to buy some Real Steel Parts (Wood-Stock, Mags) for this modelgun.

Thank you in advance for your answers
Michael

Hi Michalive,

Welcome to the forums!

Well, I have one of the Marushin Uzi's myself and they are cool modelguns. I think that the sling swivel will work off of an actual Uzi if you can find one as they are both metric sized.

But, I think that the actual Uzi's sling swivel is rivited on the side of the pressed steel receiver so, I am not sure that you can find one that is seperate.

I am not sure that the actual Uzi magazines will fit as I haven't tried them myself but they might..

The stock assembly should fit. Do you have the folding stock?

Yes, the UZI are complete, only the sling swivel is missing! The only reason for replace the folding stock is, that I had a UZI with wood-stock during my active military service in Germany.

I found a UZI exploded diagram

Can you compare it (Part 16 & 6) with your UZI?
Thank you and Greetings from Germany
Michael

Hi Michael,

It appears that the actual Uzi sling swivel is rivited on the receiver..

My Marushins sling swivel is screwed on the side with what look to be a 6x1.0 mm screw which threads into the cast zinc receiver.

You might be able to obtain a swivel assy that hasn't been attached to the receiver or one that has been removed and then modify it to fit.

I think you are right! So I must look for a separate sling swivel on the gun show or must make a inquiry to our local gun shops to find this part.

Thanks for you help!
