| http://www.rampantclassic.jp/Company founded in 1996 with an ultimate goal: create a "perfect" replica of Colt SAA. Modelgun was actually designed by Rokken, while RC manufactured and marketed it. The first batch (1000 pieces) sold even before it was manufactured. Their modelguns are manufactured from "Locklite" material, which is a plastic mixed with tungsten (wolfram) to obtain heavy weight and "metal" feel. Even if RC produces just "one" revolver, a few variants were created, each in fairly small batches (the smallest one was just 120 pieces). Since May 2010 Rampant Classics is the official Colt licence holder in Japan (according to the GUN magazin).
