Remember Marushin introduced their own "Lost Stainless Silver" surface finish on their pfc PPK & gbb CZ75? Recently I took it out again and found out...

Totally Lost Stainless Silver (Marushin) 080920101532

Compare with the steel M92FS Inox (dummy) & Maruzen's Walther P99 w/silver aluminium slide - the lost stainless silver finish turned totally brown with stint of rust smell...

Not impressive at all and it seems Marushin now stop applying this finish on other guns...first the greenish parkerised colour on the M16s and now this...!

That really looks strange. You would expect the finish to last long if the modelgun is stored in its box. I have Marushin metal finish pistols that still look like new after 20 years (they have not been fired and stored in their box over the years).
