However - this Wa Shan M84 is generally a much better performer than the G17 (but of course it depends on the QC as well)...if you started off with this M84 then you might not be so disappointed with Wa Shan Wink

WaShan's M9 Dolphin really is a great modelgun in my experience. If WaShan/HwaSan/Y.T.Corp are still supplying them with metal barrels and firing blocks and, as Jim says the factory's Quality Control is still good, it should still be a good modelgun.
It's such a pity your Glock proved so dissapointing. I can understand your apprehension about buying another though after such a miserable experience first time around.

You're right Cerwyn, I have a serious apprehension.
The Wa shan model gun are quite expansive too, so if I retry and I receive a bad model, I will be really sad.
So for the moment, I wait.

It can be said that Wa Shan need more skills in order to copy (or to replicate) Tanaka or even Glock's relatively sophisticated "non-hammer" firing system - that's why Wa Shan's simpler M9 & M84 can run smooth...

Tanaka's versions have its own problems as well but since they're built in plastic so some glitches had been avoided (e.g. lighter plastic slides for smooth firing actions) Wink

Humour is often difficult to make itself understood when written or read in different languages.

If KSC luger 9mm can be use in Wa shan M9, maybe I will buy one, I will see. It's a shame that MGC p220 are not available.

For the moment, I have to sell some airsoft guns to have money for the M9.

You are right that you reviewed Marushin kit. One on "wanted" list was for step-by-step assembly instructions that lowlight has volunteered. As often happens in this hobby other things kept him away, but hopefully this will be done over this summer :-)

If you want, I can do a review about M9 Marushin Kit. For that, I just have to dissassemble one of my M9 and re assemble it with taking photos: simple.
The only problem for this at this moment, is the time. For now, I don't have enough time to do a good review. My time is for my children...
