Normally is at the real AK-47 model the buttstock fixed with spring-loaded steel balls. But at the licensed copy of AK-47 (Type 56) from China, it is not so, can confirm this because I myself have such a thing. I've even heard that at AKM when the buttstock was folded out, the shoulder piece aligns itself.

I don't think Chinese ever get any licence to do anything along the way Walmic Laughing ...

I got the last version (those made after Hudson announced its closure) and I don't have such problem...not supposed to have anything that "clicks" when you adjust the shoulder piece study
