Hi

I have just purchased a marushin m16a1 that I am cleaning up after some previous neglect ...for some strange reason it has now started firing on full auto when semi auto is selected ....is this as simple as replacing a worn selector switch or somoething else adrift ?

Hiya, and welcome to the forum.

One thing to check is that the trigger sear part (#73 that sits in the trigger) is not broken.

Indeed they are Twisted Evil

Another thing to check is that hammer is held by the sear when the bolt is manually pulled back (with the trigger pulled) and stays locked when the bolt moves fully forward (still with the trigger pulled)
