I have already checked that my gun is not loaded and the magazine is removed. In order to strip the model 92, simply push in the slide stop release button on the right hand side and lower the lever on the left of the frame. The whole top section will slide forward, slide and barrel etc.

Then, to remove the slide simply slide the whole lot forwards until it is clear of the frame slide rails.

From there you can continue to strip parts out as far as you want to go, from the basic strip down here, to a complete strip down with all the little bits and bobs.

To reassemble it is simply the reverse process to what you have done to strip it, reassembling the top assembly, slide and barrel etc. and simply sliding it into position and raising the lever again to lock it into place.
