PostSubject: M31 RS2   Sat Jan 21, 2012 12:10 pm

Hi
I'm new from this forum and novice in ModelGun passion !!
I'm French so please be indulgent with my English !

With help and patience from Francky and good and precious advices from Cerwyn (Thanks a lot to both of you.),
I receive my M31 RS2.

Perhaps it's because it's my first Long ModelGun (not the last one) but I'm very impressive by the quality.
It's strong, weight is perfect, and I don't speak about the sound of the pomp : Absolutely Magic !!!!!!

Here some pictures and Technical manual.

Best regard

Hello armalyte ,

Bienvenue sur ce forum plein de vrais passionnés !! Un autre français, et parisien qui plus est, est vraiment sympa Smile
For others members, we have to speak English but it is not very hard.
Anyway, your model gun is really fantastic, really beautiful.
Try next time to describe with more details and it will be perfect. Your photos are nice as well.
I wonder what is the price of this kind of model gun, expansive I think Smile

Thanks a lot and see you soon french friend

Wink

Hi Momocampo
happy to see some French's guy !!

The price of this shotgun is not expansive. Seeing the quality, it's worth !!!!!!

This model is wood stock/pump version, HW ABS, metal part, weight approx 2.2 kg, 5+1 cartridges load.

It use 2x5mn caps (I have not fire yet).

Cartridges (6 per box) looks like more close to 16mn caliber size than 12mn. In comparison with a real 12mn cartridge

For me it's a magic and mythical weapon... !!!

Thanks very much for your review armalyte Very Happy

I see you have one of the special "50th Anniversary of MGC Establishment" models Exclamation Very nice indeed Wink

I have a standard version of this model and although I have not fired it yet either, I agree that just the sound of pumping cartridges through the model is a real pleasure in itself.

Salut et bienvenu :-)

Good photos, thank you for sharing!
This is very nice model from limited "50th anniversary" collection that was released by MGC just before it closed.
Regardless of that, this is a solid model, and sound of pump brings a smile :-)
Pump-action shotguns are probably one of the most known movie weapons, so they should be interesting even for normal people ;-)

A+

Yes, really nice model gun...but it's too big for me, I am a specialist of hand gun because my flat is too little to stock long model gun....
Anyway, congratulations for this model and I hope we will see you soon.

Bye

Thanks for your comments and specially to Smootik for your welcome "en Français dans le texte"....

Pumping sound is really incredible. No way to get bored !!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'll try to find with Francky's help a M31 version with a folding stock, to start a Shot Gun collection !!!
I'll post pictures since I 'll get it....

Armalyte -Attention! Attention! Ce passe-temps deviendra une dépendance! lol!

Please excuse my French - but this is a warning that this modelgun collecting hobby will become an addiction! Very Happy

I joined this forum nearly 2 years ago with my first modelgun - an MP40 Marushin.
Both Cerwyn & Smootik warned me about the high possibility of becoming a modelgun addict!
AND THEY WERE CORRECT! cheers

So I thought I should pass along their warning to you, mon ami!
So welcome to the forum, and to our growing contingent from France; and we all look forward to hearing more reviews from you as you try to fight the compulsion!

Bonne chance!

Cheers
Kiwigunner
