PostSubject: Hudson Garand model gun   Mon Apr 23, 2012 2:28 pm

Hi everybody!
kiwigunner made a nice review of his rare Hudson Garand CO2 shell-ejecting model.
I gonna try to do the same with my Hudson Garand model gun.
Let's go!
I bought it at the Kevin's former virtual shop http://www.modelguns-worldwide.com 2 years ago

I didn't kept the box.
Slightly sanded with a 1000 sandpaper.

With a bayonet (an indian reproduction)

Stripped

The gas cylinder stripped

The complete trigger housing

Some views of the breech

Feeding and chambering

After few time, the follower slide has broken, because the weakness of the metal, so il decided to
replace it with real Garand parts, i also replaced prevently other parts :

The Hudson follower slide before it breaks (not sure for the conjugation)

The replacement clip latch, and clip latch pin, because the metal of the latch was really too soft.

I also replaced the follower arm, and the operating rod catch/accelerator group

Very easy to do, no special knowledge needed, and the feeding and ejecting cycle are completly safe.

At last, a nature morte
