I have just bought some new real look cartridges, you can get them in 9mm,45 auto, 44 amp, 380, 40S&W and 32 cal.
They have the cp type system with the seals and really do look like real rounds.

I have some for the ingram which work great and for the 45. The 45 rounds work in both MGC and Marushin 45's.

I also bought some 9mm for the Tanaka USP as i hate the tanaka system for their rounds slow to load and always blowing the seals off. The new 9mm rounds cure that problem but you have to buy a conversion kit for the USP which consistes of a new firing pin for the barrel and a recoil spring + you have to play around with the spring to get it to work right (I had mine done for me).

There is no real difference in performance put they do look good.

Markzzr,

I wonder, are these the new MGC cartridges or something new? You did say the CP system though, so that leads me to think that there just might be a new manufacturer out there (although, I am very skeptical as it wouldn't be practical for a manufacturer to tool up for the modelgun market as it is a very small hobby)

Although, there was (or is) a Japanese company called Mullberry hill that made very relistic cartridges with Remington etc. stamped on there cartridge rims. These cartridges where verrrry expensive and where a "work of art" so, I don't think that they where ment to be fired!

They are the mulberry hill ones and they fire great.
Cost is £19.95 or about $37 for 8 rounds so not cheap you only get 6 for the 44 and the 380 and 32 cal are £16.95 or approx$32.

I got mine from Jason Freer my supplier in the UK at www.modelguns.co.uk

I know these are expensive but they do look good.

Markzzr,

cool, I didn't know that Mullbery hill was still producing their expensive cartridges!

I didn't think to ask anyone about them as they seem to be an obscure small company to me and therefore rare.

You say that there is a converesion for the Tanakas? I wonder if they offer a kit to use the MGC/KSC M93R cartridges? these are quite resonably priced and available http://www.dentrinityshop.com/pr_list.jsp?cid=COL&bid=MGUNA&pg=2&rpp=10 (at least for me that is.)

Hi,
Does anyone know were i can get some .40 s&w mulberryhill real look cartridges for my m96fs, I know that modelguns.co.uk. sell them but he won't sell me any as my 96f wasn't purchased from his site.
If there are no other sites but someone can get me some shells i would gladly pay them via cheque or paypal for the shells and postage.

Regards

I have noticed lately that www.endoshoji.com has started to carry the Mubery Hill cartridges.

They are very realistic but, they are expensive and they are easily damaged when they are fired as the ejector hits the cartridge base during ejection leaving a dent on the cartridge base.

I do think that they are cool looking and they are great if you are just displaying the modelgun instead of firing them.

Or, if you are rich and you wanted realistic cartridges to fire as I cannot imagine spending the money for a full magazine of them!
