| Post by John I have an old Kokusai M66 revolver coming with gas filled cartridges. The gas is the usual H134a gas for airsoft. You inject the gas through the valve at the base and you can put a BB at the mouth of the cartridge. So striking the cartridge base would release the gas and push to BB out from the mouth towards the muzzle. It is excellent to simulate the action though the power is not great as compared to other airosft.
I wonder if similar cartridges also exist for the semi-auto pistols. If yes, it would be great to use it for my modelgun. Of course I cannot put the BB in the cartridge as the muzzle is blocked. But I hope it could generate louder ban sound and even the blowback & shell ejecting action. In theory, it should work but i wonder if it has been done before or anyone or modelgun maker wants to do it now.
You know, there is no cap in Hong Kong and it would be great to have it.

| Post by Claymore I dont know about pistols but you used to be able to get shell ejecting uzi's,KG9's and MP5's dont know if they did any other models. Endoshoji has them in their used classic section from time to time and so does modelguncollector here in the UK. I think spare rounds may be a problem to find though. | |

| Post by Mark Yes, I too have seen the shell ejecting airsoft models, they are cool! And they made several models....The Marushin Uzi has two gas reservoirs one for the BB's and one for the blowback action..I also, have seen the belt mounted gas resevoirs with a hose that hooks into the bottom of the pistol... | |

| Post by Claymore I would of bought an uzi model as i have seen a few for sale over here but they only come with about 10 rounds and i have not found anywhere i can get anymore. It would be fun i think and a bit cheaper than caps but i still prefer my modelguns. I have 2 airsoft gas b/back ingrams which i thought were great fun but after getting the MGC modelgun there is no comparison, you just cant beat that noise the ingram makes on full auto and the sound of the shells hitting everything in site as they eject. | |

| Post by Mark You know, I haven't found anyone yet that doesn't mind the smell of the smoke from the fired phosphorus...I don't know if it's good for you or not but I do like the smell...In fact, I have smelled simular smelling chemicals before and they always remind me of modelguns! I don't think that it would be a good idea to shoot in a small un-ventilated room all day or anything..... | |
