Somehow The Consumer Watch can have a case on this Rolling Eyes ...strangely (but understandable) replica guns are one of the few products that we're happy to see misleading descriptions on the packages Laughing

Good point jim Very Happy UK Trading Standards could have a "field-day" with this Wink

Real Ammunition would normally have the weight of the projectile itself listed as a weight in Grains. .45 ACP Ammunition was supplied in 4 different bullet weights including 230 gr

230 gr = 14.90 grams

MGC .45ACP Thompson cartridges weigh approx 19 grams. I haven't been able to weigh CAW's cartridge yet, what are the chances they've made them at 14.90 grams Question Question Question I'll be sure to let you know

Hi Jim,

Turns out that CAW .45ACP cartridges weigh 19g , just like MGC's Thompson 45s. Smile

Well over 230 grains so you're right, Consumer Watchdogs might get unhappy Wink

We get used to it...we like to fool ourselves that GBBs are in different calibres when all of them are actually 6mm or 4.5mm Wink ...
