I think you're referring to the magazine. Right?
The Wa Shan Full metal G17 should have the metal magazine. But I'm not sure if it fits & works nicely to the Tanaka G17.

BTW, it seems to me that the magazine of the real Glock 17 is also in plastic, same for the USP. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

John, yes, the magazines in the actual Glocks are made of a polymer plastic with metal liners. The only all metal magazines that are available for the real Glocks are the really bad aftermarket replacement magazines.
bigbshotya, The only modelguns that use "clips" are the Hudson M1 Garand, CMC Mauser M98, Tanaka Arisaka rifle series and the Marushin/MGC/Hudson Mauser C96/schnellfeuer pistol there are some others but, i cannot recal them all at this moment.
Clips are ment to hold amunition that is intended to be stripped into magazines with a "clip" guide or into the rifle itself (M1 Garand) or pistol.

As R. Lee Earmy would say,"A clip always goes into a magazine, but a magazine can never go into a clip." He gave a demonstration with a magazine (for reading) and put a paperclip into it.
