Looking for cutts compensator and some "real looking" cartridges that look like they have a bullet in the casing.

You could try USA based Forum members kharris and ljerr2 for a Cutts Compensator. Both can be contacted via Private Message

Mulberry Field produce a range of "Real-Look" cartridges in both cap-firing and Dummy types. I'm not sure if their .45 ACP Real Look cartridge will cycle and fire in the MGC Thompson as I think they're a different size to the standard cartridge.
If you just need display only cartridges, inert real ammunition is considerably less expensive than Mulberry Dummy rounds

Mulberry "Dummy" cartridges with full-size "bullet" require replacing detonator pin in the chamber. You need to get such a conversion/adaptation set from Mulberry if you want to cycle cartridges, otherwise there will be damage to the model.
I'm not sure they produced such a set for MGC Thompson though, there was a .45 one for MGC 1911 series.

"Real look" cartridges are like normal PFC ones, they just look more realistic than original ones. No conversion needed.

Thanks for both of your replies. I PMed the one user you suggested. kharris and I have already done business and I don't believe he has many parts left but I will send him an email. I also contacted http://www.mg-props.co.uk and http://plugfirecapgunsuk.com to see if they could ship and have not heard from either.

These are the cartridges I was looking at:

So those will require a modification?

Checking the Cartridge Library we have, there's little difference between the standard MGC Thompson cartridge and the Mulberry .45 ACP:

https://mp40modelguns.forumotion.net/t2504-mulberry-field-45-acp-real-look-cartridge

If you want the cap firing version of Mulberry's cartridge there may be a little modification reqd to ensure good feed and extraction but I'm not 100% certain as I haven't tried them myself.
As smootik says, Mulberry's Dummy cartridge is not capable of firing so the Detonator Pin in MGC's Thompson will need removing if you intend cycling them through the gun. The chamber and det. pin are both permanently fixed together so you may need to make a new chamber to suit the cartridge.

There's every chance both www.plugfirecapgunsuk.com and www.mg-props.com can help you with cartridges and the Cutts compensator. I didn't think to mention them as you had asked for a USA based source. They're both well known to us and are highly recommended

Yes, I was looking at the cap-firing realistic Mulberry rounds. I didn't want the inert dummy rounds. Thank you for the comparison links.

I have contacted both of those companies and have not heard back from them in several days. Should it take some time?

I'm ok with buying internationally, but I don't want to risk items being seized by customs, etc. It seemed in the recent past I had contacted some UK-based MG dealers and they did not want to ship to USA.
