Pretty awesome, they fill the shells with CO2, so the blowback seems to come out of the shells only. No gas tank required, so they can build the internals very close to the real steel counterpart. That's just a guess of course, there aren't many infos around yet...
A pity, though, that we're probably looking at several thousand bucks, should one want to get both of those new GBB shell ejectors

More and more nice airsofts coming out but no new modelguns .....
Is this the way it will always be now ?

I reckon so, though a good question all the same. How many PFC Modelguns are currently in production and who makes them (as we speak??).
I like GBB very much and the fact they actually shoot something is a bonus. I can take or leave the shell ejecting aspect of things though with regard to GBB - and unlike a blank or PFC gun, if it increases the price of things two-fold then it's not worth it for my wonga.

I think I feel the same way . Modelguns are still my favourite but whilst they have been pretty much static for several years - airsoft is constantly developing and improving .
Modelguns appear to be all but obselete .
However , I have said for years now that airsoft is limitless .
If you pick up a modern metal gas blowback rifle you will be amazed by how good they are - and they seem to be getting better too .
The plastic toylike construction is gone and has been replaced by all metal and extremely solid build quality .
I would personally like to see more of the shell ejection types as a projectile means nothing to me . I would rather see as much realism as can be developed into a model .
Hence my interest in the APS Cam m870 gas shotgun .
An incredibly detailed and reailsitic piece . :Smilie 68:

Not sure if you guys actually are interested, but I'll just go on posting this stuff
Video of the pretty much finished MadBull Barrett, here in the short M107 version:
Looks absolutely awesome
@phobus and muzzleflash: Yeah, I fear you're pretty much right. The modelgun industry seems to be in a harsh downward movement for several years now... it's a good question, how many modelguns probably are in production right now. Maybe a few at Marushin, Tanio Koba and Taiwan (at WaShan perhaps) and that's about it.
I do find airsoft guns to be a pretty good substitute. Taking the right models, you get full metal construction, blowback, shell ejection and a pretty realistic internal system to boot. For some models, I gladly trade the lack of smoke and sparks for the fact, that I don't have to clean the gun after firing. With more and more shell-ejecting airsoftguns coming out and firecaps getting rarer with practically every shot fired, I predict a rather bleak future for modelguns
That doesn't make the hobby "modelguns" any less interesting in my eyes, though. A big part of the hobby is collecting old and rare stuff and regarding firearms replicas, it doesn't get much older and rarer than modeguns
