Flash cotton?

Some of you may be familiar with the magician's prop known as flash cotton. I thought I'd give it a go, so I put some in my MadMax barrels.

I learned that the effect can be pretty cool, but it takes some experimentation as you can see in the video. The first barrel ignites well, the second did not.

You're right, this sort of thing takes a lot of experimenting and luck too. Perhaps the flash cotton was a little too compressed together in the barrel
I should think that a wide barrelled shotgun is the ideal and safest type in which to use flash cotton. Gasses expand so fast when it ignites it's best to use in an open space that'll allow the gas and flash to vent out.
Nice effect, let's hope you get to video both barrels flashing
