| It certainly looks a great tool.
Sadly it won't work for MGC P220s, .45s etc as the 7mm cap spacing grid is closer together so the carts cannot be lined up.

| Hiya 'ace
Do you mean the spacing grid holding new 7mm caps together in the plastic frames that come in new boxes? I suppose then that a specific tool like the one shown would be needed for all the different cartridge diameters plus all the caps would need placing onto each cartridge individually anyway. Pity that, it looks like a great time saver. _________________ Cerwyn

| Yes it's the plastic frames that hold the caps together, so using a similar tool you couldn't press them straight from the frame.

| This is a game changer - simple but fantastic idea Unfortunately I have to agree with 8ace. The Tanaka rounds benefit from the small diameter inner tube (and using 5mm) When it comes to 7mm caps and .45 carts it's just too tight I have been sketching a bit - even leaving out each second cap (would then that to be loaded by hand) still is too tight !!! I don't think loading from the carrier frames is an option, but the rest I guess could be done | |

| We'll just have to ask manufacturers to kindly change all the tooling and molds they have for their 7mm caps, I guess... | |

| Seems this is on sale, JPY2,900....it is bit tricky price I think, it is not cheap for this type of nylon product, but it definitely mitigate a burden of loading the caps......"buy or not to buy, that is the problem".

| It seems that only the inner tubes for the Tanaka carts are small enough to have all the benefits
I would really like to have one for .45's but that will remain a dream
I'd still like to try it out though | |
