Picked up a repro Bakelite foregrip for the MGC68 and noticed the screw alignments are slightly off. MCC screws also no go being too short and recess for nut on bakelite is too big.
Has anyone managed to replace the plastic foregrip to rhese accurate bakelite ones?

I replaced the foregrips on a Marushin MP40 with a set from History Arms in the US. The screw holes were only slightly out, running a drill through them in situ sorted the problem out easily. Apart from that minor problem, their products are excellent. My MGC68 MP40 stil has its original forgrips fitted.

Thanks guys! The seller did mention they fit the denix but also stated fits original MP40. Will check out other seller. My MGC68 has pristine orig MGC plastic but rather like to improve it for display

I had the same thing, purchased a repro pair and they don't fit at all. Also not the same length either. Contacted the seller and they gave me a refund straight away and said don't bother sending them back. She said she was told they fitted.
