Hi Guys,
Looking to get an M7 Bayonet and M8a1 scabbard for the M16a1.
As I'm in the UK I'm a wee bit restricted, unlike you lucky people over the pond.
I'd rather not run the gauntlet of customs officials confiscating one, although I've heard that it should be ok I'm airing on the side of caution.
Anyone know of a good source for one?
Rather not have a repro but if that's the only way I'll have to.
TIA

Hiya,

I found this: https://www.sofmilitary.co.uk/m7-m16-bayonet-original.html

Not cheap at £70, but looks original. I have a repro from years ago; the sheath is "cheapish" and the bayonet doesn't look too bad, but it doesn't look like the one on the SoF website. It has a leather wrapping around the handle and "Japan" stamped on the blade, just after the hilt.

More annoyingly, it does not fit my MGC M16....

Andy
