I do not know much about this very expensive modelgun. It is a BWC (http://www.bwc-bluingworks.com/) model on a Tanio Koba M4A1 basis. It has a special cartridge design using two caps. It is almost 200.000 JPY which is not cheap for a plastic model.

Maybe a member does know more about it.

A F.N. M16A4 should be BURST, not AUTO, and it should not have a "C AF" marked upper (early 2000s upper made for Colt). The screw instead the front pivot pin is also not correct for a military M16. But it is a nice model for sure.

Wow, that IS expensive for a plastic model... from the little I've seen, all BWC models are frightingly expensive.

It's a shame that the fire select system isn't correct nor are the receiver markings for a model this expensive but we can't have everything I guess!

The new cartridges look very interesting. I wonder if BWC needed to strengthen the TK basic model to handle them?

I have seen a lot of BWC models but in pic only, they always look great but i have no idea how reliable they are, i would hope very very reliable. The price is unbelievable on all their models not sure how they sell any as you have to have a huge income to warrant the outlay, but if i had that kind of cash i would buy one.

The BWC models are definitely expensive!  The Japanese market seems to be willing to really pay up for models using "real steel" unique markings, parts or accessories.

I had at one time owned a BWC Kimber Compact 45. It looked great but broke quickly upon firing.  May have just been my bad luck, as we all know models can be fragile - regardless of the maker and we've all had breakages if we fire our models.  But I can't afford replacement parts (if they are even available) for models of such cost.  That particular model may be best for wall-hanger display and not for "firing".

Regarding the .223 cart design, I'm guessing it is likely due to use of a hollow detonator design.

I do love my Tanio Koba M4s! BWC F.N. M16A4 (Tanio Koba basis) 2740960407
