I have looked into this somewhat and there isn't much good news Metal Parts for M9 Icon_sad

THe PFC M9's slide usually have a thin oblong on the top that jumps up and down with each shot (no idea what this part is called Metal Parts for M9 Icon_biggrin) The airsoft M9's (for which most of the metal kits are made) do not have this, but usually have it molded into the slide. That is the first problem i can see with the slide. Secondly the chamber may require some work to fit.

One solution might be to buy a Wa Shan M9 and switch over the outside parts that you wanted, so you could have the ultra reliable MGC M9 internals in a metal body.

Hey, not stupid. The parts they sell at G&Guys are for airsoft guns ? Metal Parts for M9 Icon_surprised

By the way, I've heard (or maybe it's you who told me Metal Parts for M9 Icon_biggrin ) the Wa Shan guns were less reliable than the other brands about firing and all, is that true ?

Due to the nature of how I am able to fire my guns, I have not pumped hundreds of shots through either my M9 (full metal) or my 92F (mgc). The M9 is not 100% accurate as far as markings etc are concerned, so if it is the authenticity of the gun that you want then the 92 is a lot closer. However, the M9 is a much more solid heavier gun and will take a lot more abuse (it is also full auto selective, but I am sure that you have read that elsewhere on the forum Metal Parts for M9 Icon_biggrin ). I have found both to be equaly reliable for the shots that I have fired with them. I have tended to favour the disposable cartridges with the M9 (these are great), but only have a few, so I tend not to waste them. I dont know if you can use these in the 92 or not. If I had to choose one over the other, I would opt for the 92, but only just, and mainly because of the more accurate markings etc, but I think that most people should have one of each! Sorry that I cannot be more of a help.

I guess you talk about the markings on the barrel. So if I get it right, if I take the metal part from G&G I won't have the exact markings as the MGC ABS version has ?! Metal Parts for M9 Icon_confused

No, is the simple answer. The parts cannot be interchanged and mished and matched. You may find that airsoft metal parts might work, but I do not know whith that one. I would guess that if they were manufactured by the same company then they might with a little bit of modding. The companies wouldnt want to make several moulds for the same gun if they could help it, too expensive. The reason is that the metal guns use slightly different dims and a slightly different firing mechanism from the plastic models, so the parts will not even go together.
