Hi guys happy to join the forum!
Sharing my latest project
I had a shoei FG42 barreled receiver I found at an auction many moons ago- it’s been sitting around in my storage for the right moment. Friend got a 3d printer and we figured we can finish it up!
It’s a work in progress but looks like we got the major silhouette of the gun down. Will try to replicate the dry firing, open and closed bolt functions etc.

The second FG dummy in the photos was completely 3D printed as well. Surprisingly we were able to fit the 3d parts on without many issues. Even the 3d bolt carrier fit, but loosely. Tried to attach a video but I cannot figure out how to do so. That part will need some more fine tuning but I’ll keep you guys updated on our little project!

So you have 3D parts that actually fit on the Shoei?
Those must be some very accurate models.
Too bad no one has ever made an affordable airsoft.
