Evenin' All.

I'm hoping to place an order with Endoshoji (assuming they are a good trustworthy retailer) in a few days for either of the following M1 Carbines as they seem to be the only place that has them in stock (according to their website anyway). All the UK sites I've checked don't have them, and no doubt probably get them from Hong Kong anyway.

Tanaka M1 Carbine Cal.30 http://www.endoshoji.com/model-guns/page011.html is $935 (£470) including shipping

CMC M1 Carbine Cal.30 http://www.endoshoji.com/model-guns/page028.html is $875 (£440) including shipping

MGC US CARBINE .30 M1 http://www.endoshoji.com/used-guns/page010.html is $475 (£240) including shipping.

As I've never owned or operated one of the above PFC models before, I'm unsure as to which one to get. I'm assuming they are all the Plug Fire Cartridge type. They are all used and have differing prices but out of those 3, which one has the best cycling, firing and ejecting operation?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Is that the same picture for all three products? I can't spot a difference.

SFX,

If you are looking for M1 carbine to fire, I suggest none of 3 of them. Because:

1) Tanaka
This is a bascally CMC M1 Carbine. Tanaka made this using CMC mold after CMC went out of business. This is a great model, but speaking of make this good firing, I think you need to do some work. Parts are very difficult to source.

2) CMC
Same reason with Tanaka

3) MGC
This is a plastic M1 carbine, not suitable if you are looking for more real gun feeling. It fires great, but the problem is, this model has very fragile plastic bolt, it many break within 5 rounds (could last 100 rounds). Again, difficult to source replacement bolt.

On top of that, as Stinger suspected, I don't like either Endo shouji doesn't list a real photo of the model. It has been long time since those model were made, the condition could be varies.

If you are new to modelgun hobby, then, I would suggest a gun with good firing performance with model has good parts sourcing circumstance.

Hope this will help.

cheers,

Additionally I heard from different sources (mainly classic airsoft collectors) that Endoshoji is too expensive and that their response behavior is horrible. I have witnessed the latter myself, they really hardly respond at all and if they do, it's anything but detailed.
People who bought guns from them complained, that they drop you as a customer the instance they send off the package, there seems to be zero help or contact for afterbuy issues.

This is not my personal experience, as I decided not to buy anything from them after reading several negative reviews.
