MGC M9 Serial Number Register Request...

I came across this page today.

Someone in Japan wishes to collect the whereabout and geographic distribution of the MGC M9 (ABS) which each has an unique serial number.
I tried to send my numbers to him but it bounces back becasue the mailbox is full.
In fact I have 3 MGC M9 ABS. Their numbers are:
0004613, 0006129, 0006319

I believe MGC M9 is the only model handgun bearing unique serial number on body. Right ?

My another MGC M9 Super Heavy Weight bears this serial number :
C51091Z

Hi John, my MGC M9's number is 0009770 and the boxes serial number is A798860 as far as modelguns with unique serial numbers from the factory go, i think that KSC Beretta M93R's (HW) have unique to the gun serial numbers too.

The new MGC Italian only has a unique box serial number, not one on the frame as is advertised by modelguns.co.uk and other retailers

Interesting one:

My M9 on box is: B272635 & I10486 - on gun: I031769

My Italian on box is: B281736 & J02196 - on gun: C51091Z

Yes, very interesting.

My MGC M92F Super Heavy Weight is Italian version but it is a dummy one which could not fire ! So all MGC M92F Italian version regardless it is SHW or HW, dummy or cap fire, all bear the same serial number C51091Z regardless when it is produced.
It is also known that the MGC Super Heavy Weight version was produced long time ago and for a short while only.

So is it true that only the MGC M9 ABS version bears unique serial number on frame ? It surely adds more complicated work flow in the production process. It also seems that MGC would not produce that ABS version any more again. I'm happy to have it in my collection.

John, my KSC Beretta M93R (HW) serial number on the frame consists of two numbers: C95927Z and then, 001570 (The number 001570 is also on the box)

My ABS M93R has B75968Z on the frame but no serial number on the box..

I think that it really isn't that hard to add serial numbers to each modelgun as they just heat stamp the numbers on. I think that a individual serial number adds to the realism of the modelgun...

I just stumbled upon this old post and remembered that I have a MGC Beretta M9 for a year now too.

Well mine has a serial number, on the lower frame, left side. It is: 1031702 Rather high compared to the number on your guns ...
