| Post by Gatling The Toytec minigun is completely sanded down and polished, so that job is finally done. Next is the bluing, but I have some trouble with that Aluma black doesn't work! I have tried many layers but it just won't stick as I can easily wipe it off with steel wool. I have ordered super blue, hoping it will work better. Anyway, here are some shots of the "chrome minigun": _________________ Help, I need spare parts for the Toy-tec dummy minigun! | |

| Post by Pydracor Leave it like that, looks extremely stylish How does the Toytec minigun perform? I have only seen pics and videos of the Piper M134 so far. | |

| Post by Spencerman Leave as is, leave as is, leave as is, leave as is, leave as is! That looks great in chrome. I have seen a few black ones, I have seens a few twin grip variants, I have even seen a short barrel version, but never a chrome one. Whereas I dont usually like chrome guns, that does look the absolubte dogs bollocks. Leave as is! _________________ | |

| Post by Gatling Well, I also think it looks quite good in chrome, but I am a "guns should be blued"-kinda guy. My plan was to blue everything and highlight edges to get the old worn look. I'll try super blue on a part and if that fails I may keep it chrome. I've already messed up some parts with aluma black and they just got ugly looking so they needs to be polished again Pydracor: My minigun is just a display model. The Toytec airsoft mingun is supposed to be quite unreliable compared to the Piper minigun, but it looks better _________________ Help, I need spare parts for the Toy-tec dummy minigun! | |

| Post by Gatling Hi Gavin, I've blued two barrels and some other parts to the minigun (sorry guys, couldn't stand the chrome any longer). They look way much better now. It's a horrible job though, and it will take ages to finish. _________________ Help, I need spare parts for the Toy-tec dummy minigun! | |

| I had the pleasure of firing one of these a few months ago, damn heavy but absolutley fantastic to fire great spinning sound from the rotating barrels but the sound of hundreds of BB's hitting the target in seconds and shredding it is just amazing great bit of kit. | |
