| cerwyn,
Sent the photos to you via regular email. Yeah, this is expensive, I had to say "sayonara" to many of my collection and accessories to fund this. I do not have "money growing tree" or "money squeezing faucet", not easy to get this. But very happy after all. I bought Hudson Garand (from a store in 10 times loan), Type 99 rifle this year, I had to eat Cup-Needle 3 times a day for the rest of year.

Thanks for sharing that :-) In my budget "food/living" position also helps to fund hobby, maybe too often. I laugh that a bit of diet once in a while is a good thing ;-D Interesting that cup noodles (local variants) are also popular in Poland - I used to eat a lot of them when I was a student. They were cheap and good enough for a meal :-) Now I feel like a student again ;-D - pitfighter wrote:

http://www.urban-armory.com/cart/proddetail.php?prod=fg42 Wow... there is not many of these left, but the price! Probably one of these rare cases where modelgun is cheaper than the real gun ;-D BTW - there is a great book about FG42 history and variants: http://www.collectorgrade.com/bookshelf1.html

| smootik,
Hey, that's ok, this is free forum, you can express yourself within a set category. I posted this in for sale is just wanted to post a topic that people may interested and discuss. Unlike airsoft world, there isn't so many news out there.
Speaking of cup noodle, Arnold Schwaltznegger (don't know if this is a right spelling) was on TV commercial here in Japan almost 20 years before. He showed a strange dance with gigantic kettle (because you need boiled water to eat the noodles), you will never imagine from his current "Governor of State of California" face.
Speaking of cup noodle (2), when I traveled to Australia, I brought some cup noodles with me. At the custom of Sydney airport, one of inspector found that I carry the noodles, he took out a file and started checking if the one I brought is ok to bring in or not. In the file, there were almost 100 of top label of cup noodles files. I did not know if he was diligent to his work, or merely wanted to show off his "cup noodle label collection". I think it is the later.

| shazhib,
As an Australian citizen I can tell you that the Australian Customs don't just target cup noodle - they target meat/dairy products and anything that threatens fellow Aussies' health (well in fact they want to protect the local meat/dairy industry)...
Australia is becoming an extremely restrictive country now (especially the 2 things that concerns me - guns and driving speed - very much like Singapore) and this is part of the reasons that I decided to leave Australia...
OK back to this FG42 - saw one for sale today and don't know why it's slightly cheaper than the MP44 (I bought one just some time before Cerwyn got his)...I'm not really into LMG but undoubtedly Shoei did a good job once again...

| Jim,
Thanks for sharing on Australia.
Regarding MP44, don't know why. Maybe......more parts to work on? How much MP44 cost in HK?
