Spanish company founded in December 1978 by Jose Carretero Febrer and Sebastián Llull Salom, who were previously manufacturing imitation jewelry. Initially produced tourist products, but after discovering that militaria are sought-after, company started manufacturing imitation of arms. Over years their market changed from 100% national to 90% international.

As for modelguns, Denix produces a number of dummy models. They are not very accurate, but they are much cheaper than Japanese models, and they are made of metal.

Every year Denix introduces new models.
