| Hi everyone. I am very new to collecting modelguns. I have only one currently; an MGC colt 1911a1. I hope to get more into collecting and learn new things. A few things I have noticed about modelguns is that they are almost identical to the real deal. I was stopped by security at a reenacting convention last weekend (not old enough to own a real handgun) and had a hard time showing that it was not a firearm. Secondly as for caps, I have found that ordinary caps you buy at the toy store work just fine in my colt 45. I look forward to collecting, and having a great time. | |
