SHIPPING REPLICAS TO UK FROM US

Just wondering what the rules are for shipping frum US to UK with respect to model guns...

I know that now with the VCRA that it must go to a "re-enactor" but I'm wondering if there are any other problems from shipping outside of the UK (eg: what shipping service needs to be used, etc.).

I've had no problem with shipping individual parts to forum members, etc. but just wondering about full replicas and obviously want to comply with all rules/regulations, etc.

Experiences other forum members have had with US to UK shipping most welcome.
