| It had already been released last month on the 27th (both HK & Taiwan) - again I'll wait for the one bearing authentic markings (very very soon)...
Again please keep in mind the metal used for these will be quite soft (as usual - WE should either have a serious talk with his metal supplier or more fundamentally fork out more budget for the materials instead of just focusing on R&D and marketing)...but what more could you want with the price of <USD$80...

Redwolf will give anything green light (so does all gun shops)...and yes - I like to see MKIII release as well (looks more modern).

I would like to know how soft the metal is on these WE guns. Hawsan PFCs feel soft to my touch, I don't know about WE's reputation as regarding durability. There are 3rd parties here with steel upgrades, there is a steel charging handle for a WE M4, but what I want to see is a WE destruction test. If I was a manufacturer of an airsoft weapon company I would assure people that what they're purchasing has been tried and tested.
You pays yer money and you takes yer choice. If you have any info on WE durability I'd be happy to know?

| WE dared to post a "destruction test" video on Youtube firing 19 full mags with one of their G39C non-stop...have to say this is their best offer up to date (very solid plastic used for the outer body) - I think I'll get the G39 RAS very very soon (already out - before the first batch sold out)...
I can say the metal for used Hwa San guns are STRONGER than WE...maybe they want the makers of reinforcement parts earning their bits (making money together rippping off customers)...sorry for being skeptical...

| Here in Taipei the guy in the Toys shop that you went to said that WE are not that good compared to KJ. But that was July of last year.
I would like to see WE chuck thier GBB out of a 4th floor window onto concrete, and get someone to run over it in their car and then test it. Real gun makers test their kit all the time, be nice to see the airsoft companies do the same. I'm now looking at the WE PDW and the G36E as well.
Have to see what Rahtech come up with and intruder shop.

...but why get so tough on airsoft when it only cost a fraction of the real deal... What I really mean is that WE can sell their Browning at $120 with better metal instead of $80 but made with scrap...

If I was a manufacturer I would want to assure people that what they're getting is good gear, but I would push the price on my units a bit. WW seems to be cornering the market, whereas KJ is coming across as a small cottage industry.

| WE is very market sensitive (big thumbs up for this) whereas KJ seems to have slow down their paces (their new Ruger .22 semi-auto with M16 stock looks weird and out-of-touch)... | |

Yeah I'm with you on that one. The Sig 516 or 522 and others would be my idea after the M4. I might email Clare at KJ and see if they will do a Browning MK3.

| Requires login for your link - but I know what you mean ...just like the one for Marushin's modelgun grips isn't it? Maybe wood was getting more precious during wartime (and these Brownings were made during the production team's hideaway from Belgium (?) to Canada) so the grips simply switched to plastic instead... | |

| I prefer plastic. WE might do black grips in the future, would be nice, then it would look more like a MK3. | |

| Well I bought one. Only cost me NT2500, that was the best price I could find in Taipei, and shop price, as the shop wasnt that far from where I lived.
I did a test fire, and it has got a bit of a recoil to it. It feels solid to the touch and feels well made, no rattles or loose bits. The shop sells WE, TM and VFC. Had a go with a VFC M4 socom, very nice, the internals are the same as a Inokatsu, but at NT13,000.
I did ask the proprietor if he had any news of the VFC MP5, he did say its coming out this year, but doesnt know when. He thinks the price will be about NT10,000, thats what I said, as their kit is not cheap.
Anyway, thats my recommendation on the WE Browning.

| So this equals to HKD$670 - and strange how HK can make it $620~$650... This is nevertheless a good product especially with the price factor - will definitely go for the one with "Property of ROC" markings (might be HKD$980 when their own website listed USD$135 - can sort of work out how much HK shops will drop)... Recoil is WE's selling point (so as their M14 / G39 series) and it should be the same with the upcoming MP5...but with H&K's copyrights issue with WE I bet they'll name after theirs as "MP55" "MP5WE" etc (hard for this one as MP7/MP9/MP10 belongs to other H&K models and MP3/MP4 are gadgets)... By the way you're using Top Gas (12kg) not 134a (8kg) nor "Red Gas" (16kg) isn't it? I predict problems will show up after some 100 shots (slide rattling / trigger cannot strike the firing pin bar etc) because similar ordeals for Tanaka as well...but anyway finger-cross... | |

I'm using green gass, I was given a big can if green gas when I bought the gun. Its got super power on the can with silicone mixed. Do you know of any problems then?

| Does other gas cause problems, I know weather conditions can have an impact, but does the wrong gas break the gun? | |

| Strong gas for weak Japanese plastic will break your gun...weak (Japanese) gas for full metal will stop your gun (from cycling - not enough power)... | |

| I got a nice fancy box with cloth and writing. How come you didnt get the same? I dont have any Japanese pistols, non of that Bakelite rubbish. I'm going to get Rah-tec to upgrade my WE M4 CQB. Mind you, I always get a gun bag for my weapons and chuck the box in the bin. I'm glad you like the Browning. | |
