I guess it could really cause problems arise at customs. If you want I can ask around. | |

| As a reference point: older MGC PPK had svastika cut out from grips (eagle remained). Modern Shoei models imported through their German salespoint have svastikas that appear in instruction manual covered up. Unless there was a significant change in law or interpretation, I would expect a similar treatment. | |

| Here in New Zealand historical re-enactors like myself often portray German militia and use uniforms, medals and weapons that have swastikas on them, though we limit public displaying and minimise emphasis on such Nazi emblems. (I have a PPK and a P38 modelguns with such markings). One of my associates is a German international businessman who was absolutely horrified and surprised at what he saw us wearing recently - he also laughed at us, bemused by the fact that if we were to display anything with a swastika in his homeland, we would be immediately arrested and charged with criminal offences.' ' So I assume, based on his reaction, that the same German laws would apply to weaponry displaying such symbols - though, as with most laws, there may be some exemptions and permits that may be issued with approval by the authorities ' ' Maybe one of our German members may confirm or deny this. | As far as I've learnt - anything with swastikas in Germany will be banned outright and whoever the item belongs to will be prosecuted (quite heavy-handed as well - this is the taboo)...neighbouring countries shall not be affected... | |

| On a side note regarding Germany & Nazi: what will happen when Japan somehow drop the Royal Family & China gets a new democratic government? I'll leave it here... | |

| It is absolutely crazy law. On the one hand the swastika on the hand grips and video games is forbidden, on the other hand LV signs may appear shown on the TV screen so much one wants. In my eyes are holy illusory laws. ->Foridden signs<- (Sorry, found only in German) | |
