Here a few photos of some of my collection. I will add some more as I get time and get them cleaned up. Many of these were protected to some extent while others were in the Florida salt air and it had its way with them for 20 years or so. Some literately broke and crumbled in my hands as I worked with them. Such a waste.

Here are a few more. These have all been cleaned but not restored yet. The rest are just not happy about having their photo taken yet. Embarassed

Very nice Fearless!

Even post the "junk" you have, as there are members here who may be able to help with spare parts, or some who may be looking for spares parts.

Thank you! I will have to do them one at a time, as I have disassembled most of them, bagged all the parts with a list of replacement/missing parts for each. I am just not sure which part of the site to post the parts wanted photos and questions.

I disassembled the M-73 Western Saddle Carbine while I was on heavy medication for an 8mm kidney stone prior to surgery and can’t seem to remember where I put all the screws so that one will have to wait a while!

Looks fantastic :-) Very respectable collection.

It may sound strange, but could you also post a picture of crumbling parts? Just to give an idea of material durability, visible changes in surface etc. Maybe in "Problems" section rather than here Smile

What a fantastic collection to have fall into your hands Fearless Very Happy Really, really impressive Very Happy

Any "Wanted Ads" for parts you need can be posted in the

Questions you may have on Assembly/Stripping could be posted in the
Modelgun Problems category
if there's a Specific Modelgun section here, I can always link up your posts to them where applicable.

Nice photos too Very Happy , a workable size I find fr posting from Photobucket to these pages is either 600 pixels Wide, or 15cms Wide depending on your Photo Editting software.

Keep up the good work, you're doing a fine job restoring these old Models to their former glory Wink

Thank you Cerwyn! I will review how I resize my photos in the future! The restorations are a labor of love. I feel very grateful we do not have limiting legislation where I live so I can own and shoot both real and model guns. (I really don’t think I want to fire any of my models though, as I don’t want to undo any restoration I do to them) This site is such a great resource. And the site design is among the best out there, very user friendly! Very Happy

Thanks again and be safe.

Thank you for your kind words Fearless, the members here are indeed a great source of knowledge. It's members writing hints, tips, problems they've had and sollutions that make this site as good as it is.

Keep them coming, and keep restoring those fabulous models you have there. Your experiences rebuilding and renovating them will be of immense help to others owning the same models.
