| I had a go on this today (17 May) and it was amazing! Terrific recoil with a new bolt system. It felt solid to the touch and felt reliable. WE are really coming up to standard. The shop owner only had this one and no others. I do hope there is an M4 in the pipeline. http://goods.ruten.com.tw/item/show?21105166245542 | |

| I'm going down the gun shop tomorrow. Jay, the gun shop owner said that the new bolt will fit into a WE M4. But the recoil is the strongest I have ever felt in a GBBR in that M16A1. But I think I’ll wait for the 2011 range to come out – with trades. | |

| Finally... : And the recoil - it's strong and smooth ... Markings wise - both M16A1 & AR15 are available and obviously I chose the latter (I reckon this is more suitable)... | |

Dunno...in terms of price alone I'll vote yes (as there isn't other option in same price range) - actually I want the one from Viper Tech: what stops me from doing so is the lack of Colt markings on their export version (goddamn Cybergun interference once again) ... I might have to somehow make a trip to Taipei and carry some of these Viper "Colts" back to HK for any one interested...let's see...

| Additionally - Taiwan's domestic version: Export version (what's available in HK): Wanna find out if any HK gun shop willing to get me these through parallel imports...? | |

| Thanks Deni...but I never expect to pay these much for WE guns... Don't know if this loophole is workable - get RA-Tech or TAF (or other workshops) to customise the Vipers with Colt markings for me then ship it under their name (as Viper cannot send it directly overseas)... | |

| I think WE are becoming a bit sophisticated now. I have v2 bolt from KJW for their M4, it doesnt have the rubber band anymore.
I love the competition between the manufactureres, VFC have slippped to third place, WE are top with KJW hot on the heels. That's because WE make more units.
I know that Jay would like to ship to the UK as he can make a big profit with his custom jobs.

| Hi all don`t want to disturb the euphoria but please do not make the failure, to overestimate WE. I did it several times the last one was the M14 GBBR with the cheap errhm, well "metall" if you call it so, that is called triggerbox. So if someone plays in airsoftgames and skirmish a lot with this new M16A1 and run several hundred magazines through it, let me know what "issues" revealed! Best regards Joey | |

| Well...to be fair I can say that the quality of WE guns are "improving" but more improvements still needed - but at the same time these guns are value for the money (generally you can't get any cheaper GBBRs than these)... I have problems with the trigger group of their M14 as well - so fortunately I'm more of a collector than a wargamer (I might "die" tragically if I totally rely on WE guns on the field )... | |

| Its all down to different factors. WE guns are the best for skirmishing/survival games. Parts are piss easy to get, and they are the only company that are striving to beat the competion and improving on their products.
People have problems with internals all the time, whether it be a WE, KJ, Ino, VFC...ect. If you got deep pockets go for VFC, if you dont mind scratching and dropping your expensive M4?

| Mind you, I do like WE's XM177, I'm having a custom job, morphing into a 733 with flashlight and an M2. | |

| Okay got one WE M16a1 with completely installed Ra-tech internals. Shots very and i mean very very well! Color needs some work. But just my point of view i dont like this "all black" style. But hey i just tried some stuff from the 60`s on it and the parts just fit perfect. Old movable swivel stock, handguards and grip even the bayonet fits exactly. Even just checked out diameters with a real flashhider. Well WE did a impressive job comparing to the AEG brand copys from TM, G&P and CA i got with horrible wrong flashhiders! And not fitting bayonet lugs on G&P/TM models that needed a lot of work. After a few magazines through it i cant wait for spare mags to run it on the field in action. Stone solid! But one thing they did wrong and with the power the gun got it really is a pain in the ass. The top channel on the gun is too small to install original AR-15 type optics i own.The side walls of the rail are to thick, damnit! | |
