MGC Sterling reciever diameter???

Subject: MGC Sterling reciever diameter???

i know a real sterling SMG has a 1.5" outside diameter receiver, is the MGC the same? i read that it was around 1.25" somewhere
if somebody could clarify this for me, it would be greatly appreciated

Mine is 36 - 36.5mm OD (depending on measurement location), translating to about 1.42 in.
This is only 2mm difference, so if real Sterling was made of 1mm thicker steel, it would have the same OD and ID.
