Be careful what you buy on the net

Recently I saw a lovely Enfield all metal modelgun for sale on the web, did all the usual checks,did the action work OK? does it cock and fire? all the answers came back... YES perfect!!


Great I thought....the deal was done.


The parcel arrived, all seemed OK but something was just not right ....?






So dug out some old enfield PFC carts
and excitedly tried to load it !!



Then I realised the problem...


The carts were just a bit too big




Well OK lesson learnt! but the worst thing was while waiting for it to arrive
I had also sent of to the same site to purchase a spare Enfield cylinder which was delivered
later that day:

Hahahaha........but it's Winter fun here, so I thought I'd set up my new barbecue.

Then I had to go out in the shed and do some repair work in my roof with my Dewalt nail gun.

You probably are aware that Weta in NZ are making another movie in the Lord of the Rings series - the prequel called "The Hobbit".

Well guess who I found shopping in my local gun-store....??????



I guess it's always good to have a back-up in just in case....
