| Post by shazhib Folks, Here is Colt SAA metal model from Tanaka. The model was made using CMC's mold. CMC SAA was most popular amongst those SAA modelguns because of it's shape (but the model was released far before CAW was released). After CMC collapsed, Tanaka reproduced this model. There was a variation of Civilian, Artilery, Cavalury (somebody help me to spell correct) and Bantline Special. CAW released limited edition of Sherif's in metl. The gun came with wooden grip as in a photo From right side Marking on barrel Close up of body and it's marking Marking on top of barrel Another close up of body With round. This is .41 size, so that real size cannot be loaded. This would be a major draw back of this model, however, back in those days when this model was made, metal revolver is alway under monitor by police, I think this is one of CMC's voluntary safety measure From front and cylinder insert With box S | |
