I have just taken my mgc 68 to a gun and sport shop in christchurch, dorset. They verified that was capable of firing 9mm green tip blanks, fiocchi. I have tested my mp68 successfully and fired 10 rounds without damage. Well pleased.
Very expensive hobby. Blanks are not cheap
