| Hi everybody, I apologize if this post is not at the rigth place, so the moderating team is free to move it where it needs. Ok, i start : I have a problem of delivery with Tokyo Toy Distribution's store. Of course i guess that the order won't never be delivered. So i wrote a mail to Mr Miki Nakamura, president. Here it is, and i need to know if it's correctly written. "Miki Nakamura President Tokyo Toy Distribution
Dear Sir,
Thursday, January 5, 2012, You wrote me that my order will be shipped on or around Monday. After looking my dashboard, on the "my account" page i had the surprise to see that the order was still "pending". In the hope to have some explanations, Friday, January 13, 2012, i sent you an e-mail asking WHEN this order will be sent. At this time i'm without any anwser from you. I'm very disapointed, you've betrayed my trust. Please cancel my order and send me back my money.
It's obvious that I will never again purchase from your store, and that the comments that I will have, about Tokyo Central Hobbies, on the forums, will be far from complimentary. It's also obvious that you have the frightfulest, the more lamentable customer's service i've ever seen.
Regards François Failly"Thank you for helping. | |

| Hi metradio, I agree with you, it was my intention. Just wanted to be sure that my mail was grammatically correct before sending. Unfortunalty i read comments about this store, after ordering, so i'm not really quiet.

| This particular store, as well as several others run by the same individual, have an awful reputation for terrible service. Bad reports have appeared here and on several Airsoft forums.
One point to be very careful of, however, is that Paypal are extremely Anti-Gun in every shape and form. They are known to close accounts if gun related items, even magazines and parts, have been purchased using their transfer service. _________________ Cerwyn

| Hi Cerwyn, Yes, i pay my lack of foresight. Nevertheless, Paypal have accepted the transaction, the money has been tranfered. | |

| Paypal will transfer payments using automated systems without difficulty, usually, but problems can arise when disputes are reported to them. It is at these times Paypal staff are involved and may realise that items paid for are Gun related.
Most of use use Paypal to pay for our Modelgun needs in reality BUT there have been many cases where Paypal have realised items paid for are not to their liking and customers accounts closed.
As an example, some time ago I bought a Marushin M16 magazine from a forum member and used Paypal to transfer payment. I received the magazine in perfect condition but a few days later the unfortunate seller's account had been closed by Paypal because he'd sold a Gun part. It took the poor guy a long time to convince them the magazine was for a Modelgun but even so Paypal kept his account closed for a long time. Fortunately for me, they left me alone BUT others have not been so lucky. _________________ Cerwyn

| Have just had a look at PayPal's help centre pages, it depends how you read it but seems that ALL firearms including deactivated guns are prohibited items at PayPal, anything else would depend on the buyer and sellers countries laws..
In the UK a firearm can be deactivated and in law it becomes a non gun, but PayPal say once a firearm always a firearm regardless of local law..

Dear Mr Nakamura
On Thursday January 5th 2012 you informed me that my order for ( insert your item and catalogue number) was to be shipped to me 'on or around Monday'. After looking at "my account" page I was surprised to see that the order was still "pending". Looking to clarify this I sent you an e-mail on Friday January 13 2012, asking WHEN this order was to be sent. At this time I have still had no answer from you. I'm very disappointed with the lack of contact and will therefore cancel my order and ask for my payment to be reimbursed. It's obvious that I will never again purchase from your store, and that the comments that I will have about Tokyo Central Hobbies on the Model Gun forums will be far from complimentary. In my opinion you have the most lamentable Customer Service I've ever dealt with.
Sincerely François Failly"

| Hi Cerwyn, It was a good lesson for me : even if the items purchased were less expensive, it was nervously really expensive! | |

| Hi DronneSound like some interesting experiences members have had! Thought I'd add my experiences too: 1) With Paypal: I've had two modelgun transactions that I requested and got refunds for - one from the USA and one from the UK. In both cases I had paid money but the goods failed to arrive in a reasonable time. The UK transaction goods turned up 6 months later (Royal Mail had intercepted and sent the packed by sea because air delivery was prohibited - but never informed anyone). So I repaid the seller once the goods had arrived! I never mention the word gun - but I use "goods" - and legally that seems to avoid problems for me. 2) Re Tokyo Toys: I ordered a Marushin MP40 magazine (as a spare) and the order was processed; after two weeks nothing had happened; three inquiries to sales dept. over the next week were ignored. Finally I wrote to Miki himself suggesting that if I had no reply I would use my media business and networking with my American and Australian and New Zealand TV & Movie production associates to blacklist Tokyo Toys for any further purchasing movie gun props. I got a reply the next day! With an apology and an explanation that they were out of stock and my magazine would be on its way as soon as possible. Three weeks later I had an email saying it was on its way with a tracking number. It arrived 4 days later. I found Miki helpful and courteous, but got the impression that his business needed some staff re-training in the area of customer satisfaction. Sounds like things have not changed any! So you may have to wait for any reply. But Miki WAS helpful once I got a personal contact from him. Kiwigunner

| It's unfortunate that all of Mr Miki Nakamura's replica gun dealerships have such a bad reputation for poor service. There have been a significant number of complaints posted here and in other Airsoft forums. It has to be said also that there have been a couple of Positive feedback reports about www.wwiiguns.com posted here too, but most do seem to be very negative.Place orders with care seems to be the message, and stay with reputable dealers that are praised on the Forum regularly Retail on-line shops linked to Mr. Nakamura are: _________________ Cerwyn
